ÔÂɫֱ²¥ is bringing forward proposals for a new Diagnostic and Surgical Hub (DASH) at Salisbury District Hospital.
The hub will replace outdated surgical facilities and expand diagnostic capacity, helping to reduce waiting times and enable patients to be seen more quickly in modern, fit-for-purpose environments.

Salisbury District Hospital's existing day surgery unit was built in the 1990s and is beyond its expected operational life. At the same time, demand for diagnostic services continues to grow.
The new Diagnostic and Surgical Hub will address both priorities, delivering modern surgical and diagnostic facilities in a high-quality building designed for efficiency, sustainability and patient wellbeing.

The new facility will be purpose-built to separate planned care from emergency services, helping to improve efficiency and patient experience.
A planning application is expected to be submitted to Wiltshire Council in July 2026, with construction anticipated to begin in early 2027.
